After leaving my review for their location, the manager contacted me stating that she personally would fix the cut to the best of her ability, the color(the highlights look as though I haven't had my hair done in two months. She didnt do anything to cover my roots), and that my next visit following would be free.
I explained that I do not live in the area and asked if instead of getting my next service free, if I could just get a refund. She said absolutely! So I go in that day to have my hair fixed. The manager had her assistant manager fix the cut.
She was really nice and did what she could to blend in some of the choppiness without cutting my hair super short Mind you my hair was at least 5 inches past my shoulders and all I asked for was a trim! I did not ask for layers! She stated how sorry she was and how she can't believe the previous stylist messed up my cut and color that bad. She was in shock!
I was surprised she'd say that but it made me feel better about making a big deal of it. When I asked about the color, she stated I'd need to come in on a different day. That's when the manager walked up and stated that she also wouldn't be issuing a refund. Instead of making a scene, I contacted corporate to fix the problem.
Shortly after I was contacted by the district manager and was told that since they are issuing me a refund, they will not be fixing the color because it is not fair to the stylist to fix a mistake she didn't make. I explained that the MANAGER said she personally was going to fix my cut and color, and issue me a refund. Why did she stick it on someone else? The district manager responded that it's just the way things work and that my experience will be a great learning opportunity.
She then proceeded to say that my check will be sent in 4 weeks as it has to go through corporate. We will see if I even get that. Do not promise a customer that you will fix her hair personally and then issue them a refund, but then not. And argue with her when she comes to the salon to have it fixed!!
I work in customer service, I know, especially as a Manger, you do not make a promise you can't keep!! I am so embarrassed of my hair and I have never had an experience like this!

Preferred solution: I'd like an apology for not fixing my color as promised because now I have to pay to have it colored again. I'd also appreciate if the company made sure I actually get my refund. I'm not confident that the DM will follow through.

We have just faced a devastating virus and still fighting the second around of it and still unsure of certainty of it all, to have someone to sit for an appointment
for 2 1/2 hours plus is not safe and people not wearing their masks. I thought
haircuttery had better guidelines and policies for the public.
What is the purpose of making an appointment in advance and the employees don't honor or respect the guidelines. Customers you pay good money for the services however you not getting the professional care and services they should be providing to each customer
Yes, I want the corporate office to hear me and understanding what is happening in the field. There should be a feedback on each hairstyle so the company can be aware of the services.
This is not to cause problems for the employees but it doesn't make them aware of the negative, nonchalant attitude they present when providing services. No it is not all of them but it only takes one to set the atmosphere with a unhealthy work environment.i

Overcharged on tip bc they do tip percentage on products as well as services!
Preferred solution: Refund for 20% charged as a tip on the product purchase portion of my bill. Also they should change this asinine way of doing their check out.
